New independent grain whisky distillery in the Scottish Borders
Jackson Distillers will build and operate a new grain whisky distillery in the Scottish Borders with the capacity to produce 20m litres of pure alcohol (“LPA”) each year, with potential for further expansion in the future.
Following planning approval for the distillery by Scottish Borders Council, Jackson Distillers are now raising funds of £50m to complete the construction and installation work which is due to commence in 2023.
